Donna Lynne Farney, 55, of Alma, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born June 14, 1968 at Pearl Harbor. She was a retired aquatics director on the naval base. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce (Allen) Mitchell; and her first husband, Randy Farney.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Reedy of the home; two daughters, Jessica Farney of Chesapeake, VA, and Kelsey Richards of Greers Ferry; three sons, Andrew Farney of Fort Smith, Emmett Reedy of Tulsa, and Strom Reedy of Fort Smith; her father, William Mitchell of Van Buren; a sister, Kathy Mitchell of Lotus, CA; a brother, Bill Mitchell of Fort Smith; and six grandchildren, Zyler Richards, Zayen Richards, Zorian Richards, Julie Reedy, Natalie Reedy, and Silas Reedy.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church at 1025 East Pointer Trail in Van Buren.
