SO, let’s start thinking of dancing. How can WE plant the seeds of hope and success for our activity? How can WE promote growth? How can WE build numbers and encourage our members to enjoy the greatest activity on earth? WE need to plant the seeds NOW!!! Just like a farmer, how can we have a successful season? By promoting square dancing and encouraging people to join us. I am willing, are YOU? I can hear the tractor engines starting now!!! Music to my ears. Get ready…let’s plant the seeds for growth. To coin a phrase, “LET’S ROLL!!!”” May is also the month we celebrate and honor our mothers on Mother’s Day. My Mom’s photo is featured in the box at the top of this message. In closing, MEMORIAL DAY is a VERY special holiday at the end of May. It is the weekend we honor those who have made the supreme sacrifice to preserve our freedoms all over the world. It seems like SPRING is really happening when we get to May. Everyone is thinking about planting, and…farmers are getting fields ready to plant. We should ALL think like a farmer. May is a new beginning for them, a new crop, a new chance, new hope, and renewed anticipation for a successful growing season.
