About The School:
The school combines expert classroom
presentations addressing, music, choreography, presentation
skills, teaching, singing call techniques, and much more.
There will be plenty of “on mike” time for each student. I
take pride in providing quality instruction for the new, or
the beginning caller. In addition, there will be training
sessions and exercises designed to enhance the knowledge of
those callers wishing to expand their current level of
expertise. Whether experienced, or just starting out, the
instruction will be tailored for each student, at their
level of expertise. The goal is to provide an enjoyable, yet
educational, experience to enhance your skills at teaching,
calling, and entertaining dancers. The bottom line is that
the Kaw Valley Caller’s School is for you!!!

The cost of the school will be
$350.00 per student. Partners are encouraged to attend at no
additional cost. Tuition covers the full cost of the program
and printed syllabus. The fee does not include lodging or
meals. Upon receipt of your application, and a $50.00
deposit (fully refundable until June, 15, 2026), you will be
provided information as to what to wear, what to bring, and
how to prepare to get the most out of the school as time
approaches.

The Kaw
Valley Caller’s School will be held in Croco Hall, located
at 6115 SE Highway 40, Tecumseh, Kansas. My sincere thanks
to Dana and Donna Schirmer for their efforts in securing a
location for the school and promoting the event. Should you
need lodging, please contact Dana for motel or campground
information.
