A message from Jerry…
First of all, the photo in the corner is of my Dad, and I wish to take this opportunity to reminisce about him. On June 6, 1944, 173.000 American and Allied Forces stormed the five beaches of Normandy. My Dad was one of those troops. He was engaged in seven major battles during WWII, including D-DAY and the Battle of the Bulge. His unit was also part of the forces that liberated the concentration camp at Buchenwald. The legacy of those heroes lives on today as we celebrate this 81st anniversary of the Normandy invasion.
June makes me want to get out of my recliner and back on stage. To begin with, I will be calling two dances locally in Norfolk, Nebraska. The dates
are June 3rd, and June 17th. Please check my schedule as the summer progresses. I promise more to follow.
Thank you all for being so patient, and I look forward to seeing you somewhere in a square. So…let’s all just agree that June is the month of UNLIMITED ice cream and call it a day!!!
Happy Father’s Day and God bless you all!!!
Jerry
