A message from Jerry… Hello August!
Please be kind! I am still recovering from the heat of July!!! Not saying it’s been really hot, but I was sweating so much I hydroplaned off the toilet seat
There are several of our square dance families dealing with health issues. In addition, sadly, Andy Alemeao’s wife, Tami, recently passed away. As a reminder, please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers. One special event this month is the Granite Fest in Saint Cloud, Minnesota with Tom Allen and Dick Rueter, and myself. The dates are August 7-9, 2026. As fall approaches, clubs will resume dancing and classes will begin. Let’s ALL do our part to promote lessons. NOW is the time to start planning for classes. Every club member has a RESPONSIBILITY to BRING someone new, so our activity can stay alive and well. Friendship is square dancing’s greatest reward. Don’t wait until classes begin to contact new people!!! DO IT NOW!!! Bring some friends. Even if you don’t have friends, BRING SOMEBODY!!! and landed in the bathtub!!! Also, at this time last August I was at home recovering from major back surgery and was bored. Things are much better now, and I am no longer interested in the General Hospital soap.
